WHAT IS AN EARLY DISEASE?
Patient has disease diagnosed within weeks to months of onset with no known complications of the basic condition.
WHAT IS AN ESTABLISHED DISEASE?
Patient has disease present with existing or previous treatment for known complications.
WHAT ARE EMERGENCY VISITS?
Emergency Visits are same day unscheduled or urgent visits by Physician or Nurses. Emergency or SOS visits are made to take care of minor problem, or minor injury, like, cold, insect bite, fevers, cut, sprain, etc. These minor problems runs a definite and prescribed course, is transient in nature, and is not likely to permanently alter health status.
WHAT IS TELECARE?
Telecare or electronic care refers to providing care service over the phone and/or online.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your satisfaction is important to UMEDEX. If you are not pleased with this service for any reason, you can cancel the program by visiting Forevercareindia section in My Account option. Once disabled you will no longer be charged for the program. If the program remains disabled for over 3 months, all data related to the patient will become unaccessible.
WHAT IS THE RENEWAL POLICY?
Forevercareindia program is renewable every year for a period of 1 year, unless there is a break in coverage.
HOW OFTEN DO PHYSICIANS, NURSES AND THERAPISTS VISIT?
The program you are enrolled in will determine the visit frequency. Your status as to Early Disease or Established Disease will also determine the frequency of visits. Based on the initial evaluation, your assigned physician will create a customized plan for your overall management of health.
DO PHYSICIANS OR NURSES COME OUT FOR EMERGENCY VISITS?
Physicians or nurses will make same day emergency visits to take care of minor problems. You can request for an emergency or sos visit online or via phone. However, if it is a life threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency room.
WHAT ARE THE SERVICE HOURS?
All service hours are between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
WILL I SEE THE SAME PHYSICIAN OR NURSE ON EACH HOME VISIT?
Efforts are made to send the same physician or nurse on each home visit.
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER YOUR SERVICE COST?
You will have to call your insurance provider to know how much your insurance would cover. We can provide you with receipts for service rendered.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CONTACT MY PHYSICIAN OR NURSE AFTER HOURS?
After hours or even during the working hours, physicians, nurses or therapists are available online, and can be accessed via web (www.umedex.com) or mobile devices (U-InTouch App on Android or Apple devices).
How can I or my parents access medical information?
You or your parents can access medical information by logging into www.umedex.com. You can also download the following apps from Apple Store or Google Play Store to access medical information -

How can I communicate with the Physicians?
You can use U-InTouch app or the web portal (www.umedex.com) to communicate with your parents and their physicians.
